At Thomas Westcott Chartered Accountants and Financial Planners we believe excellent customer service is about truly understanding our clients as we work towards becoming their trusted Partner.
We know that only by adding value will we succeed, and we can only add value once we really get to know our clients’ affairs, from understanding the person or sector in which they operate to getting under the skin of what makes them unique.
For two years now we have acted for the Dartmoor Preservation Association (DPA), one of the UK’s oldest environmental charities, providing investment management advice.
It is a fascinating charity of huge historical significance. Founded in 1883, it maintains a strong interest in the archaeology and ecology of the moor and continues to campaign against inappropriate development in the Dartmoor National Park.
DPA is part of a UK-wide network of National Park Societies, all of which are independent but regularly come together and share best practice under the banner of the Campaign for National Parks.
Every year the societies convene for a conference and, in October, for the first time in many years, that event is being hosted by DPA.
We were only too happy to sponsor this prestigious event, which takes place 4-6 October in the Two Bridges Hotel near Princetown in the heart of Dartmoor.
Our support demonstrates our commitment to helping our clients whenever we can.
